Job summary

NEXT Electric, LLC is seeking a full-time Pre-Apprentice Electrician in New Berlin, Wisconsin. Under direct supervision you will assist electricians with electrical work and support installation tasks.

This role requires a High School diploma or GED, OSHA 30, and eligibility for ABC Apprenticeship. Candidates may have prior mechanical or electrical experience; ability to obtain Wisconsin Electrician License; and pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 30 hour certification or ability to obtain.
• Pre-approval for ABC Registered Electrical Apprenticeship Training or ability to obtain is required.
• Prior mechanical, farming or commercial electrical experience a plus.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Wisconsin Registered Electrician License.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and MVR when operating vehicles required.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision assists electricians in performing electrical work.
• Runs wire or cable according to job specifications.
• Uses power tools to drill holes for routing cable or wire.
• Installs basic electrical components including receptacles, switches, etc.
• Delivers equipment to job sites.
• Complies with all company/customer safety policies and procedures.
