Job summary

Join the Johnson Controls team as a Wiring Technician/Electrician at our San Antonio, TX plant. This role offers hands-on experience wiring transformers, panels, and various devices per engineering drawings with safety and quality workmanship.

You will read electrical drawings (P&ID) and use hand tools, measuring tapes, and electrical equipment, following NEC/UL standards while supporting continuous improvement and a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Understanding of P&ID on electrical drawings and applicable diagrams.
• Ability to use hand tools, electrical equipment, and measuring tape.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and/or equipment as required.
• Active participation in a Continuous Improvement Team.

Responsibilities

• Wire (PLC) transformers, microprocessors, and junction boxes.
• Assemble and wire control panels from drawings.
• Perform conduit layout of unit in accordance with NEC and UL standards.
• Identify and wire all devices on unit.
