Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Wiring Technician/Electrician for our San Antonio, TX plant. This role provides hands-on experience wiring transformers, panels, and devices per engineering drawings with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

You will work with PLCs and control panels, follow NEC/UL standards, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while supporting plant operations.

Qualifications

• Complete understanding of P&ID on electrical drawings.
• Ability to use hand tools and electrical equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and participate in Continuous Improvement Team.

Responsibilities

• Wire (PLC) transformers, microprocessors, and junction boxes.
• Assemble and wire control panels from drawings.
• Perform conduit layout of unit in accordance with NEC and UL standards.
• Identify and wire all devices on unit.
