Job summary

Johnson Controls in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Electrician Apprentice to gain hands-on experience wiring transformers, panels, and devices per engineering drawings. You will work in a manufacturing setting, emphasizing quality workmanship and adherence to Johnson Controls policies.

Qualifications

• Understanding of P&ID on electrical drawings as applicable.
• Ability to use hand tools, electrical equipment, and measuring tape.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and/or equipment.
• Active participation in a Continuous Improvement Team as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Wire (PLC) transformers, microprocessors, and junction boxes.
• Assemble and wire control panels from drawings.
• Perform conduit layout of unit in accordance with NEC and UL standards.
• Identify and wire all devices on unit.
