Job summary

Crane Currency in Dalton, MA is seeking an Electrician Apprentice to join the Electrical Maintenance Group. You will learn to install, maintain, and repair equipment across manufacturing operations while gaining hands-on experience with motors, drives, and process equipment.

This entry-level role requires completion of electrical trade school, a high school diploma, and readiness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed electrical trade school within 16 months of acceptance.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to accurately record and document all work.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of electrical equipment, including replacement, new, and upgraded equipment.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and servicing of assigned electrical equipment.
• Learn to troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and systems as required.
• Support the safeguarding of personnel and property from electrical hazards.
• Maintain documentation, including drawings, work orders, equipment history, and related records.
• Respond in a timely manner to supervisor and customer requests.
• Obtain a Massachusetts Journeyman's License within five years.
