Job summary

Together Housing Group is hiring an Electrician to join the Repairs & Maintenance team in the Calderdale area. You will perform a range of electrical repairs in both tenanted and vacant properties with a focus on quality service and efficiency.

The role follows a 4 on/4 off pattern, with 12-hour weekdays and 7.5-hour weekend shifts. Benefits include LGPS pension, annual leave, and a company van shared with another electrician. Basic disclosure will be required on offer.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification and practical competence across repairs and maintenance.
• Familiarity with Building Regulations and electrical standards.
• Experience delivering customer-focused repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all types of electrical repairs in tenanted and vacant properties.
• Aim for first-time-right repairs in a single visit where possible.
• Organise workload to minimise non-productive time and support standby rota.
