Oak Employment Ltd in Haverhill is seeking an experienced Electrician for a full-time, site-based role. You’ll work 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, staying on one location for the vast majority of the time to maximise consistency and reduce travel.

The role offers a PAYE salary of £45,723 per year with weekly pay, pension contributions, holiday pay, and clear opportunities for career progression within a large, well-established company.

Qualifications

• Experience with 4000 A distribution systems.
• Experience fitting remote telemetry current monitoring.
• Ability to build cable assemblies with/without drawings.
• Proficient in reading wiring schematics.
• Skilled in assembling 230/415V switchgear panels.
• Strong ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Extensive experience with cable preparation, crimping, terminations, testing (single core cables up to 400mm).

Electrician – Full-Time | Based in Haverhill

Monday to Friday | 45 hours per week

We have a fantastic full-time opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join a large, well-established company based on-site in Haverhill. If you're tired of travelling long distances and want to stay in one location 90% of the time, this role could be the perfect fit.

Salary & Pay Structure:

• £45,723 per year PAYE (initial rate)
• When permanent, with enhanced overtime opportunities

Requirements:

• City & Guilds 17th Edition (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of working with 4000 amp distribution systems
• Experience fitting remote telemetry current monitoring
• Ability to build cable assemblies with and without technical drawings
• Skilled in assembling and wiring 230/415V switchgear panels
• Proficient in reading and interpreting wiring schematics
• Confident working without drawings when required
• Extensive experience with cable preparation, crimping, terminations, and testing — including single core cables up to 400mm
