Job summary

Bromford is seeking an Electrician for a permanent role with a focus on quality electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations across domestic and commercial properties. The position offers excellent out-of-hours pay and a stable workload with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Benefits include a company van, tools, fuel card, 27 days leave + holidays, and pension contributions. On-call rota pays £864 weekly, with annual salary reviewed annually.

Qualifications

• Experience with 18th Edition wiring regulations or equivalent time served.
• City & Guilds Electrical Test and Inspection Certificate required.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.
• AM2 qualification preferred but not essential.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
• Proficiency with IT systems such as Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), repairs, and installations across domestic and commercial properties.
• Maintaining and fault-finding on electrical and mechanical systems, including boiler controls, pumps, and lighting.
• Completing rewiring, testing, and inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Diagnosing issues quickly and delivering high-quality repairs.
• Managing materials and recording work accurately, with safe working practices.
