Job description

Job Requirements:

1. Install and service plant electrical systems, including switches, control panels, and electronic devices, based on diagrams and schematics.
2. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical equipment such as foundry equipment (ARC and induction furnaces, casting machines), CNC machining tools, and material handling equipment.
3. Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, including NEC and OSHA standards.
4. May instruct and assign work to other Electricians.

Qualifications:

1. Completion of an electrician's apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
2. Experience as an industrial electrician is preferred.
3. Knowledge of relay and PLC installation and troubleshooting; programming of PLCs is a plus.
4. Thorough knowledge of electrical codes.
5. Knowledge of DC motors, drives, AC motors, and variable frequency drives; experience with high voltages (>480V) is a plus.
6. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
