Job Overview

This position involves electrical troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment and utilities. It requires strong electrical skills and is a key part of the plant maintenance team. Flexibility for extended hours, weekends, and shift adjustments is essential.

Shift & Premium

• 2nd shift: $2/hr Shift Premium (1pm to 9pm)
• 3rd shift: $2/hr Shift Premium (9pm to 5am)

Responsibilities

• Electrical troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment and utilities.
• Installation and maintenance of electrical systems following the National Electrical Code.
• Troubleshoot and install 480v and 3-phase power systems.
• Complete work orders and projects promptly, maintaining safety and compliance.
• Diagnose and repair sensor-based systems and electronic equipment.
• Build and read electrical schematics, fabricate control panels, and start-up equipment.
• Read PLC code, troubleshoot, and program PLC-controlled equipment.
• Support plant quality systems and adhere to GMP standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 2+ years of experience in industrial electricity and control systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of PLCs (especially Allen Bradley), Relay Logic, VFD drives, and Process Instrumentation.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Understanding of NEC standards.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and compliant with company policies.
