Job summary

Grundfos in Mandeville, LA is seeking an Electrician to install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems on manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure, supporting maximum uptime. This 2nd shift role runs Monday-Thursday, 12pm-10pm, with a focus on safety and adherence to NEC standards.

You will read schematics, diagnose faults in motors, drives, PLCs, and control panels, and perform planned maintenance to minimize downtime. Experience with SAP PM and lean environments is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification with 3+ years of industrial/manufacturing electrical experience.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting three-phase power systems, motors, VFDs, and PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Working knowledge of NEC codes and industrial electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E).

As our new Electrician, you'll be performing electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment and facility systems that ensure uninterrupted production of world-leading pump solutions. This position is on our 2nd shift. The hours are Monday-Thursday 12pm-10pm.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Assembly team, you'll create impact by ensuring maximum equipment uptime and electrical safety across our production facility, directly supporting Grundfos's mission to deliver sustainable water solutions worldwide.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification with 3+ years of industrial/manufacturing electrical experience

The salary range for this position is $ 55,900.00 - $69,900.00. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. The salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in this region.
