Job summary

Grundfos is seeking a Production Team Lead in Brookshire, Texas to lead a manufacturing team, drive safety, quality and output targets, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will coach operators, plan shifts, allocate resources, and collaborate with maintenance, quality and supply chain to minimize downtime.

You should bring 3+ years of production leadership experience, knowledge of Lean, 5S, and root cause analysis, plus familiarity with SAP.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading a production team.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop teams of 10+ operators.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, 5S and continuous improvement.
• Proficient in root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a production team to meet daily output, quality, and safety targets.
• Plan and coordinate shift schedules, workload distribution, and resource allocation to optimize production flow.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions in real time.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across production activities.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and minimize downtime.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Production Operations team, you'll create impact by Driving operational excellence and team development that directly contributes to Grundfos's mission of pioneering sustainable water and climate solutions.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of production operators to meet daily output, quality, and safety targets
• Plan and coordinate shift schedules, workload distribution, and resource allocation to optimize production flow
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase efficiency

• Solid understanding of Lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience using root cause analysis tools

It is a plus if you also:

• Experience working in pump manufacturing or similar engineered-products industries
• Familiarity with ERP/MES systems such as SAP
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field

The salary range for this position is $ 54,200.00 - $71,880.00. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. The salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in this region.
