Job summary

Konik in the Eagan, MN area is seeking a hands-on Electrical Controls Technician to support the build, wiring, installation, troubleshooting, and startup of custom industrial equipment and fluid handling systems.

This role combines electrical assembly with controls work, PLC programming, and panel wiring in a fast-paced manufacturing setting; you will read blueprints, collaborate with engineering and production, and contribute to on-time startup.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical and controls experience required.
• Experience with PLCs and automation troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of three-phase industrial equipment.
• Electrical/controls or automation degree/certification preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs; work in a busy shop.
• Self-motivated; able to work independently or on a team.

Responsibilities

$35–$50/hour DOE

A growing industrial equipment manufacturer and systems integrator is seeking a hands-on Electrical Controls Technician to support the build, wiring, installation, troubleshooting, and startup of custom industrial equipment and fluid handling systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of electrical assembly, controls work, PLC troubleshooting, and custom automation projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Build, wire, install, and troubleshoot industrial electrical and control systems
• Assemble and wire control panels, conduit, switchgear, and related electrical components
• Program, install, and troubleshoot PLC-based automation systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Support equipment startup, testing, and commissioning activities
• Troubleshoot electrical and controls-related issues on custom equipment and systems
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OSHA and NEC standards
• Work independently or collaboratively with engineering and production teams
