Qualifications

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and repair electrical systems, mechanical systems, plumbing, and automated building energy management systems across a multi-building campus.
• Troubleshoot and ensure all systems are operating safely and efficiently.
• Plan, modify, and install new systems as needed to meet evolving operational needs.
• Collaborate with team members to identify issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Provide support and leadership on special projects involving system upgrades or redesigns.
• Participate in ongoing preventative maintenance and emergency response as required.

Licenses and Certifications: Incumbent must be a South Dakota State licensed journeyman electrician.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• local, state, and federal building codes;
• appropriate installation and repair techniques;
• electrical and mechanical engineering and design;
• the functions of various electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.

• interpret technical specifications and regulations;
