Job summary

Dauch Corporation seeks an Electrician to support production by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include electrical maintenance on robots, CNCs, lathes, and presses, diagnosing control issues, reading schematics, and performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Compliance with MIOSHA and safety policies is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with relay logic, motors, motor starters and control circuits for AC & DC motors.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team or independently with little supervision.
• Shift flexibility is essential.

• Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, equipment specifications, and documentation for repairs and installations.
• Conduct preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance inspections to minimize downtime.
• Safely operate electrical tools and testing equipment and maintain a safe work environment.
• Follow procedures and company policies and comply with MIOSHA and safety rules.

Job Description Summary

Replacement for Aaron Conlay

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, including but not limited to robots, CNC lathes, mills, conveyors, induction heating systems, and forging presses.
• Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical and control system issues using PLC troubleshooting techniques and effective repair methods.
• Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, equipment specifications, and technical documentation to complete repairs and installations.
• Conduct preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance inspections to minimize equipment downtime.
• Safely operate and utilize electrical tools and testing equipment, including hand tools, conduit benders, megger insulation testers, and voltage/amperage measuring devices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following established procedures and company standards.
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as all MIOSHA and Dauch safety policies and procedures.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $38.23 per hour, plus a shift premium for off‑shift assignments:

• 2nd Shift: +$0.75 per hour
• 3rd Shift: +$0.75 per hour

Required Skills And Education

• Experience with relay logic, motors, motor starters and control circuits for AC & DC Motors.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team or independently with little supervision.
• Shift flexibility is essential.

Preferred

• PLC experience with Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley and GE Fanuc
• Journeyman's Card (Electrician)
