Dauch is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Columbus, Indiana. This role involves diagnosing and repairing both electrical and mechanical equipment, including disassembly and reassembly of various machines like gearboxes and pumps. Perform equipment diagnosis and repair for both electrical & mechanical issues. Disassemble/reassemble equipment such as gearboxes, cylinders, pumps, valves, etc. and repair/replace worn or defective parts.
This position requires a high attention to detail, the ability to work in ambiguous situations and requires little direction to get things done. Strong electrical skills, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills and abilities are required. Must be able to work with a team. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, quality documents, set-up instructions and blueprints. Be able to fill out charts and other simple documents and to effectively communicate with team members verbally and through e-mail.
