Job Summary: Serves as electrician performing the full range of functions in connection with installation modification and or repair of the Navy Exchange electrical systems and electrically operated equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs other related duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: One year of experience that provided the knowledge and ability to perform basic electrical work such as repairing electrical wiring systems and switches etc.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: One year of high school education may be substituted for 3 months of general experience up to a High School Diploma or GED for one year of general experience. S
ERCIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Five years of experience that provided the knowledge and ability to perform a full range of electrician functions in connection with installation modification and or repair of electrical systems and electrically operated equipment etc.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Standing stooping bending kneeling climbing and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions where parts of systems are in hard-to-reach places. Frequently lifts carries and sets up tools equipment and parts weighing up to 20 pounds occasionally may lift or carry items weighing over 20 pounds
