Job summary

Lynch Power, a fast-growing commercial and industrial electrical contractor based in northern New Jersey, seeks a full-time Journeyman Electrician. You will install electrical systems and components in various commercial and industrial facilities, working hands-on under a foreman.

You should be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and committed to safety and quality. Minimum 2 years of experience, ability to read blueprints, and knowledge of NEC basics are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and sketches.
• Background check including drug test required.
• Basic knowledge of the NEC.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as directed by foreman or direct supervisor.
• Install electrical systems and components in commercial/industrial facilities.
• Analyze and report work problems to supervisor.
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain high-quality workmanship.

Growing commercial/ industrial electrical contracting company seeking a full-time electrical journeyman! The Journeyman is primarily responsible for installing the electrical scope for the given project. He/ She must be hands on, a self starter, takes pride in their work and a positive/ optimistic person.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures using blueprints, schematics and sketches.
• Pass a background check, including drug test.
• Ability to successfully install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Knowledge using hand tools, small power tools, shop machines, and heavy equipment.
• Knowledge with construction documents, blueprints, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installations procedures.
• Knowledge installing and mounting electronic controls, device panels, sensors, and components.
• Has a basic understanding of the latest edition of the NEC.
