Job summary

1st Choice Electric Inc is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment, and to train apprentices on the job. The role requires a strong safety mindset and the ability to read blueprints and builds.

Responsibilities include following safety rules, interpreting plans, installing systems, and coordinating with customers and suppliers. A valid Journeyman license and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician License
• Three plus years of electrical experience preferred
• Valid Driver’s License with vehicle
• Ability to run and bend conduit
• Tool set includes hand tools, impact, sawzall, drill, pipe benders
• Able to work on live panels and junction boxes
• Able to climb and work in lifts and ladders
• Physically capable of standing, lifting heavy objects
• Strong math and measurement skills
• Professional appearance and courteous demeanor
