SSi People is seeking an Electrician in New Albany, Ohio, on-site to support maintenance and reliability of electrical systems within a busy distribution center. You will focus on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to keep operations safe and efficient.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance of panels and equipment, diagnosing issues with testing gear, and responding to emergency electrical situations.

Formación

• Reading electrical schematics and drawings.
• Minimum 2 years in a commercial/industrial environment.
• Capable of team work or independent tasks.
• Willing to work a 12-hour shift (day or night).
• GMP experience preferred.
• 2-3 years CMMS experience preferred.
• Knowledge of BAS or QBAS preferred.

Job Summary

We are supporting an opportunity for an Electrician to contribute to the maintenance and reliability of electrical systems within a busy distribution center environment. This Electrician opportunity is focused on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs that help keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections of electrical systems, panels, and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical issues using specialized testing equipment and complete effective repairs.
• Install, maintain, and repair lighting fixtures, motors, transformers, and distribution systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams, then respond to emergency electrical situations as needed.

Required

• Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
• At least 2 years of experience working in a commercial and/or industrial environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment, work alone, or collaborate with other trades outside of the individual trade.
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift, with both day and night shifts open.
• Experience working in a GMP environment is preferred.
• 2-3 years of validated CMMS experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of BAS (Building Automation System) or QBAS (Qualified Building Automation System) is preferred.
