Massanutten Resort is seeking an experienced Electrician to join the Physical Plant team in Virginia. The role involves electrical repairs, installations, and wiring from 120V to 460V, with a drive to maintain safety and quality. Salary is negotiable based on experience and experience with VA licensing is preferred.

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work. A valid driver’s license and willingness to obtain VA state licenses are required.

Job Summary

This position requires complete understanding of single and three-phase electrical repair, wiring and installation, 120v to 460v, valid driver’s license with approved driving record, and willingness to obtain a VA State Electrical license (if needed). To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily as well as ability to diagnose and make repairs or new installations, follow safety codes, understand procedure manuals, and other guidelines and company standards. Salary negotiable and based on experience. This is a Monday through Friday job with occasional weekends. Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• General knowledge of every cycle and its components such as accurately read schematics and blueprints.
• General building maintenance- residential or commercial
• Must be capable of lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Must have good communications skills
• Proactive problem solver focused on delivering excellent customer service and continuously identifying opportunities for growth.
• Maintain/clean company vehicle inventory in the vehicle
• Valid driver license and approved driving record
• VA State electrical license (willingness to obtain)
• VA State Journeyman license (prefer or willingness to obtain)
