The Building People is seeking an Electrician to support a secure federal facilities O&M program in Northern Virginia, performing electrical preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and service calls.
You will work with site leadership, maintenance staff, subcontractors, and government representatives to maintain electrical distribution, lighting, emergency power, and related infrastructure in a mission-critical setting. Fluency in English is required for effective communication.
The Electrician supports a secure federal facilities Operations & Maintenance (O&M) program by performing electrical preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and service call response activities within a mission-critical facilities environment in Northern Virginia.
This position is responsible for supporting daily operations involving electrical distribution systems, lighting systems, emergency power systems, generators, UPS systems, panels, branch circuits, transformers, switches, receptacles, and associated building electrical infrastructure. The electrician supports operational readiness by responding to service calls, completing preventive maintenance activities, maintaining maintenance documentation, and supporting emergency response operations in accordance with contract requirements and Government standards.
The Electrician works closely with site leadership, maintenance personnel, subcontractors, and Government representatives to support daily operations within a secure TS/SCI environment.
