Job summary

Generator Supercenter, Inc. in Little Rock, AR is seeking an Electrician to join our installation and service teams.

You will wire, install, and maintain standby generators and related electrical equipment, ensuring safe, code-compliant work for residential and light commercial systems. You must hold a valid Journeyman Electrician or Residential Wireman license, have at least two years experience, and read schematics.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician or Residential Wireman license.
• At least 2 years residential or commercial electrical experience.
• Strong NEC knowledge and safety focus.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Pull wire, install conduit, and wire devices and control panels.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Install electrical components for generator systems including ATS.
• Perform load testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare generator sites, including trenching, piping, and setting mechanical components.
• Conduct AC and DC electrical work for power generation.
• Use testing equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure installations meet local and national electrical codes.
• Promote a safe and positive work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Position Overview

As an Electrician, you’ll work alongside our expert installation and service teams to wire, install, and maintain standby generator systems and related electrical equipment. Your role will be critical in delivering safe, code-compliant installations and troubleshooting services for residential and light commercial generator systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull wire, bend and install conduit, and wire electrical devices and control panels
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
• Install electrical components for generator systems including ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches)
