Enerflex Ltd in Houston seeks a qualified Electrical Journeyman to perform installations on a variety of equipment. You will read electrical and mechanical specifications and blueprints with a strong emphasis on safety, cost control, and customer satisfaction.

You'll work on conduit installation and final electrical connections, ensuring compliant layouts and wiring. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Electrical Journeyman license, and 1–10 years of industrial electrical

• High School Diploma or GED required; Journeyman license required.
• 1–10 years’ industrial electrical experience preferred.
• NCCER certification and TWIC desirable.
• Must read English and interpret blueprints/NEC requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit.
• Inspect electrical systems and identify hazards.
• Install cable glance and ensure wiring by machine, hand, and in trays.
• Troubleshoot electrical installations and finalize 480V/3-phase connections.
• Design layout and installation of electrical wiring per specs.
• Observe equipment to determine adjustments, relocation, or replacement needs.

Summary

The purpose of this role is to perform installations on various types of equipment. You will be fully qualified with an industrial background and have the ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical code specifications and blueprints. You will have a strong focus on safety, cost control and customer satisfaction when performing the duties of the position.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

• Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit using such tools as a hacksaw, pipe threader, rules, and conduit benders.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment and identify hazards.
• Installation of cable glance.
• Must have wiring and cable installation by machine, hand and in cable trays.
• Must be able to troubleshoot.
• Is responsible for making final electrical connections including Voltages at 480v/3 phase after installation of conduit.
• Design layout and installation of electrical wiring based on job specification.
• Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED desired; Certified Electrical Journeyman License required.
• Minimum of 1 - 10 years’ industrial electrical experience with direct industry experience.
• NCCER Certification and TWIC are desired.
• Must be able to read English.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and NEC requirements.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Familiar with a variety of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within particular field.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
