Job summary

Enerflex Ltd is seeking a Pipe Fitter to assemble and repair pipe systems per drawings and specifications. You will ensure proper placement and alignment of components in an industrial environment, while following safety rules and Enerflex’s values.

The role requires reading isometric drawings, knowledge of pipe ISO standards, and qualification in GMAW and GTAW. Minimum 1–10 years of relevant experience is expected. Visa sponsorship is not available in the U.S.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical diploma preferred.
• 1–10 years of relevant industrial experience.
• Must know pipe ISO standards.
• Qualified in GMAW and GTAW.
• Knowledge of pipe fitting processes.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Summary

The Pipe Fitter will assemble and repair pipe systems of various shapes, sizes, and pressures. Ensure proper placement and alignment according to drawings and instructions.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

• Must have general knowledge of all aspects of the Fabrication Department.
• Reads and understands isometric drawings.
• Bridge tacks in GTAW on stainless.
• Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules.
• Must align with Enerflex visions and values.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or 1 to 2-year technical diploma/vocational certificate desired.
• Minimum of 1 – 10 years of relevant industrial experience required.
• Must have general knowledge of pipe ISO’s.
• Must be qualified in GMAW and GTAW.
• Demonstrates knowledge on the pipe fitting processes for industrial piping.
• Requires some oversight, but demonstrates some competence on degrees and more complex fitups.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Currently, our organization is unable to consider candidates who require visa sponsorship or the transfer of an existing visa to obtain or maintain work authorization in the United States

Physical Requirements

Industrial environment. This role will require a large amount of standing, bending, squatting, lifting, and walking on a constant basis. May be required to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity.
