Job summary

Enerflex Ltd in Houston, TX is seeking a system fitter with experience in production and manufacturing of gas skid units and process equipment. You will assemble pipe and instrumentation from P&ID drawings, lay out pipe fit ups with valves and components, and work on large skid packages including gas compression units, while upholding safety and quality standards across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with P&ID drawings and pipe fit up.
• Ability to read and interpret job and quality requirements.
• Operate cutting torch, grinding tools, and tack weld.
• Proficiency with measurement tools and thread machines.
• Strong safety awareness and team collaboration.
• Able to stand long hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Summary

The system fitter must have previous experience in production and manufacturing of skid of gas and process unit.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

• Assembly of pipe and instrumentation off P&ID drawing
• Assemble and layout pipe fit up with valves and components according to job and quality requirements.
• Working on large skid packages, processing, and gas compression unit.
• Maintain the safety culture and company’s vision and values.
• Mentor/teach on job task for specific projects.
• Comprehension with work instructions
• Maintain a reliable attendance record.

Physical Requirements

Industrial environment. This role will require a large amount of standing, bending, squatting, lifting, and walking on a constant basis. May be required to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity.
