ABM is seeking an experienced electrician to install and maintain electrical systems, diagnose issues, and coordinate with project teams across facilities. You will interpret blueprints, ensure compliance with codes, and deliver safe, efficient solutions in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program.
  • Valid electrician license as required by the state.
  • Proven experience as a licensed electrician with strong knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical capability for tasks requiring bending, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Repairs: Diagnose and repair electrical issues promptly and effectively.
  • System Upgrades: Recommend and implement upgrades for improved performance and energy efficiency.
  • Emergency Services: Respond to emergency calls to mitigate hazards and restore functionality.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and obtain necessary permits.
  • Blueprints and Schematics: Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine system layouts.
  • Customer Service: Communicate clearly with clients, addressing questions and concerns.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment manuals.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers for successful project completion.
  • Non Electrical: Non Electrical job duties assigned as needed. (snow removal, plowing, etc.)

Compensation:$32.00 - $40.00
