ABM Industries Inc. is seeking an Electrician to perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and electrical installations in large commercial environments. The role involves planning layouts, installing conduits, wiring, fixtures and ensuring electrical safety and code compliance.

Pay starts at $39.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package. Candidates should have at least 1 year of electrician experience, a valid driver's license, and an apprentice electrician's license

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• One (1) year of experience as an electrician required; on the job training provided.
• Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license.
• Must possess apprentice electrician's license in the state, county or city jurisdiction in which work will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on on-site electrical equipment.
• Perform electrical installations of a commercial nature.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical equipment, conduit, wiring and fixtures per job specs and local codes.
• Install electrical conduit, equipment, fixtures or wiring in floors, walls and ceilings.
• Install, inspect and test electrical systems and components including panel boards and power distribution equipment.
• Report work orders and progress to foreperson and ensure safety compliance.
