The role includes advanced diagnostics, PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, robots, welding, hydraulics and pneumatics, and mentoring apprentices. You will manage work orders in Plex and collaborate with leaders to improve safety and production

• Work in a safe manner, providing constant attention and communication regarding safety concerns to leaders in order to limit unsafe practices throughout the facility.
• Help develop specific maintenance and repair procedures to install, maintain, and repair machinery.
• Proactively participate in continuous improvement efforts and drive process, tooling, and equipment enhancements that will improve production efficiency and product quality.
• Complete and manage work orders via the Plex system.
• Engage with outside resources as needed to keep production running.
• Provide direction and coaching to less experienced team members, as well as mentor apprentices as requested.
• Advanced troubleshooting of both equipment and systems. For example, PLC troubleshooting, variable frequency drives, induction welders, mid-freq welders, etc.
