Hatzel & Buehler Inc in Fairless Hills, PA seeks a skilled Electrician for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and commissioning of electrical systems in mission-critical data center environments. Ideal candidates have Journeyman Electrician experience, NEC knowledge, and are comfortable overtime. OSHA 10/30 and CPR are preferred. Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

  • Journeyman Electrician experience preferred.
  • Experience in data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial, or large commercial electrical construction preferred.
  • Ability to bend/install conduit and perform complex electrical installations.
  • Knowledge of NEC code requirements and electrical safety practices.
  • Experience with switchgear, generators, UPS Systems, and backup power systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or night shifts when required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred).
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred).
  • Experience working around energized equipment and shutdown procedures (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems in mission-critical and data center facilities.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, one-lines and construction drawings.
  • Install conduit, cable tray, wire, panels, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, PDUs, generators, and related equipment.
  • Perform terminations for low and medium-voltage systems.
  • Support startup, testing and commissioning activities.
  • Work closely with project managers, foremen, engineers, and other trades to meet project schedules.
  • Follow all OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company safety standards.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas in highly secure environments.
  • Complete daily reports, safety documentation, and timekeeping accurately.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our growing team in Fairless Hills, PA. This position will support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical systems within mission-critical data center environments. Candidates should be safety-focused, dependable, and capable of working in fast-paced, high-performance settings where uptime and quality are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to stand, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
