Overview
We are seeking skilled and motivated Electricians to join our team working on large-scale hyperscale data center construction projects across the United States. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and testing electrical systems in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and applicable electrical codes.
The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment. Travel and temporary relocation to project sites will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Install electrical systems, equipment, and components in accordance with project plans, specifications, and electrical codes.
- Perform conduit installation, cable tray installation, wire pulling, terminations, grounding, and equipment connections.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and construction documents.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of power distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and associated infrastructure.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
- Maintain high-quality workmanship while meeting project schedules and productivity goals.
- Follow all company, client, and site-specific safety requirements.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, foremen, project managers, and other trades.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Complete required documentation, reports, and safety records as assigned.
- Support project startup, commissioning, and closeout activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid electrician license where required by state or local regulations.
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial or industrial electrical construction experience preferred.
- Experience with data center, mission-critical, industrial, or large-scale commercial projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safety standards.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as project needs require.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively and work on projects nationwide.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work at heights.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and active construction environments.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
