Job summary

Nortera Foods USA Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking skilled maintenance technicians to support electrical systems and process equipment across our facilities. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical gear, assist with machines, and help optimize line performance in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar with building services such as water, heating, electrical, gas, etc.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits and facility electrical system.
• Experience with hand tools and machinery maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to all electrical equipment as needed.
• Assist machine operators with troubleshooting and setup/optimization.
• PLC and process automation troubleshooting and maintenance (experience preferred).
• Change and modify blueprints after changes and modifications have been made to equipment.
• Overhaul equipment within the area of responsibility.

• Pay or shift range: $25 USD to $35 USD
  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Your daily role

You'll invest the majority of your time in these key areas:

• Make repairs to all electrical equipment as needed.
• Assist machine operators with troubleshooting and sorters set up and optimization.
• PLC and process automation troubleshooting and maintenance (experience preferred)
• Change and modify blueprints after changes and modifications have been made to equipment.
• Overhaul equipment within the area of responsibility.

Your profile

• Must be familiar with building services such as water, heating, electrical, gas, etc.
• Knowledge and understanding of electrical circuits and the facility electrical system.
• Knowledge of technical manuals and jargon associated with the electrical system operation, adjustment and repair.
• Knowledge in the use of the following instruments/equipment: voltmeter, ohm meter, ammeter, lathe, calipers, milling machine, drill press, grinder, pipe threading equipment, taps and dies, band saw, metal break and all other related hand tools.
