Position Summary

Electrician – responsible for installation, programming, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of electrical, electronic, mechanical components for distribution equipment, HVAC controls, security systems and network devices. Provide technical coordination and client liaison for major and minor repairs/projects. Perform on‑call rotation and technical callback assistance. Essential during inclement weather and emergencies.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, program, repair and modify security video surveillance systems.
• Install, troubleshoot, program, repair and modify a variety of electrical equipment, HVAC controls and equipment, access control boards and third‑party security devices.
• Provide scope of work, estimate project costs and schedule with direct consultation of Department representatives.
• Perform on‑call rotation and provide technical callback assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency and related trade experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
