Job summary

Richardson in Carrington, ND, is hiring an Electrician for our durum milling and pasta production facility. You will provide hands-on electrical support for process controls, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot PLCs, motors, and VFDs to minimize downtime.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience or an appropriate associate degree. Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens PLCs, and 480V systems is preferred.

Qualifications

Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a n Electrician at our Carrington, ND durum milling and pasta production facility, where we produce Dakota Growers pasta.

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on electrical support in the areas of process controls, resolving common power system electrical issues, and equipment downtime root cause analysis
• Complete regular preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment according to established schedules and procedures
• Use tools, meters, and technology to troubleshoot facility-specific PLC's, motors, VFDs, and process/support equipment, in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and regulations
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment by running/connecting wires, construction panels/control boxes, and performing other tasks in accordance with the NEC, North Dakota Electrical Codes, and NFPA 70E
• P roactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
• 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience OR Associate ' s Degree or higher in electrical, electro-mechanical, mechatronics, instrumentation or controls in lieu of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• E xperience with Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen Bradley, Siemens)
• E xperience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and instrumentation
• E xperience working with 480V systems

Starting wage: $31/hr
