Nucor Vulcraft Utah is seeking a Maintenance Electrician in Brigham City, Utah. The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and focuses on maintaining equipment, troubleshooting, and improving plant operation while following safety and environmental practices.

Minimum qualifications include 3rd year electrical apprenticeship toward Journeyman status; willingness to complete offsite training. Preferred: Journeyman status and experience in a maintenance setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a 3rd year Electrical apprentice progressing toward Journeyman status.
• Willingness to complete required offsite training for the position.
• Adherence to safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Maintenance background in electrical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Vulcraft Utah is seeking applications for the position: Electrician. The Maintenance Electrician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor while carrying out the duties and responsibilities required of the position. Primary responsibilities include working within and across multiple groups to maintain equipment and improve plant operation through troubleshooting as well as preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical and other equipment in compliance with all plant safety and environmental practices and procedures. Electrician will be expected to continue developing skills and knowledge necessary to install, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical power and control systems within our facility.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
