Job summary

Bunge North America in Bellevue, Ohio is seeking a Plant Electrician for a processing/refinery plant. The role focuses on electrical maintenance and repair of production equipment in a multi-purpose soybean facility.

The position is night shift, 4:45pm-5:00am, with weekends and overtime as required. Pay ranges from $35.81 to $39.27 per hour, with benefits and a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience (minimum of 5 years preferred).
• Understanding of industrial plant electric distribution systems and control systems.
• Basic understanding of NFPA 70E and 70B Codes (safety and testing).
• Ability to run rigid and flex conduit in the field.

Responsibilities

• Repair and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot motor control and lighting systems.
• Work with three phase motors: starter sizes, overloads, heaters, wiring terminations, phase rotations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Familiarization with PLC main components, system troubleshooting, installation and repair.
• Interpret instrumentation schematics/symbols, installation, troubleshoot and repair.
• Use HMI screens to troubleshoot and understand process controls.
• AC motor / VFD theories: sizing, control wiring, installation and configuration, parameter modifications, VFD troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Install electrical conduit, cable trays, wiring, and electrical equipment.
• Install small three phase transformers (sizing & wiring).
• Build emergency lighting battery UPS systems and inverter controls.

A Day in the Life:

The Bunge North America Bellevue, Ohio location is looking for a Plant Electrician for our processing/refinery plant.This position is responsible for electrical maintenance and repair of production equipment in a multi-purpose soybean processing facility

Position Details:

Night shift; 4:45pm-5:00am (rotating 12-hour shifts)

Must have availability to work weekends and overtime as required

Pay: $35.81 - $39.27

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Repair and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot motor control and lighting systems
• Work with three phase motors: starter sizes, changing overloads & heaters, wiring terminations, phase rotations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• PLC main components familiarization, system troubleshooting, installation, and repair

Minimum Qualifications:

• Relevant experience (minimum of 5 years preferred)
• High school diploma or GED
• Understanding of industrial plant electric distribution systems & industrial plant control systems
• Basic understanding of the NFPA 70E and 70B Codes (safety and testing)
• Ability to run rigid and flex conduit in the field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree and / or technical certification
• Working knowledge of Electrical Hazardous Area Classifications (Class I & Class II)
