Bunge in Bellevue, Ohio is hiring a Plant Electrician for our processing/refinery plant. You will perform electrical maintenance and repair of production equipment in a multi-purpose soybean facility, mainly on night shifts with rotating 12-hour days and weekend/overtime availability.

The role includes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, motor control, PLC/HMI work, and installation of electrical systems in a fast-paced industrial environment. At Bunge, safety and reliability come first.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• Understanding of industrial plant electric distribution and control systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E/70B safety codes and procedures.
• Ability to route and install conduit and wiring in a plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on motor control and lighting systems.
• Work with three phase motors, starters, overloads, heaters, and wiring terminations.
• Familiarize with PLC main components, system troubleshooting, installation and repair.
• Interpret instrumentation schematics and install/repair control systems.
• Operate and troubleshoot HMI screens and process controls.
• Apply AC motor and VFD theory to sizing, wiring, and maintenance.
• Install conduit, cable trays, wiring, and electrical equipment.
• Install small three phase transformers and maintain UPS/inverter controls.

A Day in the Life:

The Bunge North America Bellevue, Ohio location is looking for a Plant Electrician for our processing/refinery plant.This position is responsible for electrical maintenance and repair of production equipment in a multi-purpose soybean processing facility.

Position Details:

Night shift; 4:45pm-5:00am (rotating 12-hour shifts)

Must have availability to work weekends and overtime as required

Pay: $35.81 - $39.27

What You'll Be Doing:

• Repair and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot motor control and lighting systems
• Work with three phase motors: starter sizes, changing overloads & heaters, wiring terminations, phase rotations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• PLC main components familiarization, system troubleshooting, installation, and repair
• Interpret instrumentation schematics/symbols, installation, troubleshoot and repair
• Use HMI screens to troubleshoot and understand process controls
• AC motor / VFD theories: VFD sizing, control wiring, installation and configuration, parameter modifications, VFD troubleshooting and maintenance
• Install electrical conduit, cable trays, wiring, and electrical equipment
• Install small three phase transformers (sizing & wiring)
• Building emergency lighting battery UPS systems and inverter controls

Minimum Qualifications:

• Relevant experience (minimum of 5 years preferred)
• High school diploma or GED
• Understanding of industrial plant electric distribution systems & industrial plant control systems
• Basic understanding of the NFPA 70E and 70B Codes (safety and testing)
• Ability to run rigid and flex conduit in the field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree and / or technical certification
• Working knowledge of Electrical Hazardous Area Classifications (Class I & Class II)
