Job summary

Bunge North America Bellevue, Ohio location is looking for a Plant Electrician for our processing/refinery plant. This position is responsible for electrical maintenance and repair of production equipment in a multi-purpose soybean processing facility.

Night shift runs 4:45pm-5:00am on rotating 12-hour shifts with required weekend/overtime availability. Pay ranges from $35.81 to $39.27 per hour, with benefits including health, retirement plans, parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Understanding of industrial plant electric distribution & control systems.
• Basic understanding of NFPA 70E and 70B codes (safety and testing).
• Ability to run rigid and flex conduit in the field.

Responsibilities

• Repair and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on motor control and lighting systems.
• Work with three phase motors: starters, overloads, wiring terminations, and phase rotations.
• Familiarize with PLC main components; system troubleshooting and repair.
• Interpret instrumentation schematics; install and troubleshoot instrumentation.
• Use HMI screens to troubleshoot and monitor process controls.
• AC motor and VFD theories: sizing, wiring, and maintenance.
• Install conduit, cable trays, and electrical equipment.
• Install small three-phase transformers and UPS systems.
• Support building emergency lighting and inverter controls.

A Day in the Life:

The Bunge North America Bellevue, Ohio location is looking for a Plant Electrician for our processing/refinery plant.This position is responsible for electrical maintenance and repair of production equipment in a multi-purpose soybean processing facility .

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Repair and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot motor control and lighting systems
• Work with three phase motors: starter sizes, changing overloads & heaters, wiring terminations, phase rotations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• PLC main components familiarization, system troubleshooting, installation, and repair
• Interpret instrumentation schematics/symbols, installation, troubleshoot and repair
• Use HMI screens to troubleshoot and understand process controls
• AC motor / VFD theories: VFD sizing, control wiring, installation and configuration, parameter modifications, VFD troubleshooting and maintenance
• Install electrical conduit, cable trays, wiring, and electrical equipment
• Install small three phase transformers (sizing & wiring)
• Building emergency lighting battery UPS systems and inverter controls

Minimum Qualifications:

• Relevant experience (minimum of 5 years preferred)
• High school diploma or GED
• Understanding of industrial plant electric distribution systems & industrial plant control systems
• Basic understanding of the NFPA 70E and 70B Codes (safety and testing)
• Ability to run rigid and flex conduit in the field

• Associates degree and / or technical certification
• Working knowledge of Electrical Hazardous Area Classifications (Class I & Class II)
