Job summary

Aerotek is hiring Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians for a large-scale data center construction project in Memphis, TN. This travel role offers a competitive hourly rate, daily per diem, and opportunities for overtime and long-term career growth.

Contract-to-Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA, with potential equity upon permanent conversion and comprehensive benefits. Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus and travel is extensive.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of industrial, commercial, or data center electrical construction experience preferred.
  • Experience installing conduit, cable tray, wire, and electrical distribution systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical prints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Experience with electrical terminations and power distribution equipment.
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70E and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in active construction environments.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Install conduit, cable tray, underground duct bank, cable, and wire.
  • Perform 415V and 480V electrical installations and terminations.
  • Install and assist with commissioning switchgear, busway, PDU/UPS systems, and power distribution equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and construction drawings.
  • Support startup, testing, and energization activities.
  • Follow NFPA 70E standards and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Utilize multimeters, meggers, ammeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
  • Support industrial and data center construction projects.

Compensation & Schedule

  • $30-$60/hour based on experience

What You'll Be Doing

Job Type & Location

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $60.00/hr.
