Job summary

GE Vernova’s Power Conversion & Storage division is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Technician to translate electrical and mechanical drawings into finished assemblies. The role emphasizes panel assembly, wiring per schematics, and making minor modifications to enclosures with attention to detail.

Qualified candidates have an Associate degree or a high school diploma with 2 years of related experience, and familiarity with drives and UL508A standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 2 years of related industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components onto panels and into enclosures following mechanical layout and assembly drawings.
• Wire components per electrical schematics following predefined guidelines and work standards.
• Capable of completing minor modifications to metal panels and enclosures including cutting, drilling, and tapping.
