Airsys is seeking an electrician to join our manufacturing operations in South Carolina. The role focuses on reading blueprints, wiring control panels, and creating terminal blocks per diagrams. Candidates should have at least 1 year of electrical experience and training in electrical theory, with ability to use hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school preferred.
• Minimum of one year of electrical experience.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics and diagrams.
• Working knowledge of electrical theory and associated principles, materials and equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work.
• Ability to calculate basic mathematical problems.

Responsibilities

• Plans work order procedures and gathers tools/materials per instructions.
• Reads blueprints and performs wiring tasks per diagrams.
• Creates terminal blocks according to terminal block diagrams.
• Creates wiring diagrams for control cabinets based on blueprints.
• Adheres to manufacturing work instructions and quality requirements.
• Performs quality checks on electrical components.
• Maintains, organizes and cleans equipment and work area.
• Notifies supervisor of faulty equipment or materials.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
