Job summary

Canyon State Electric in Arizona is hiring Electrical Wireman Levels 1-4 to assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in accordance with NEC regulations. You will use hand and power tools, read blueprints, and work under experienced electricians.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic electrical knowledge, strong safety awareness, and good communication. This is a safety-sensitive, full-time role with benefits, ESOP, 401k, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push and pull.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
  • Willingness to learn from experienced electricians.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools used in electrical work.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes.
  • Effective communication skills for working with team members and supervisors.
  • Basic math skills for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
  • OSHA Certified – CSE will provide training if needed.

  • Follow state and local building regulations based on the Electrical Code (NEC).

  • Communicate issues, risks, or additional tasks to supervisors or licensed electricians.
  • Maintain clean and organized workspaces, ensuring tools and equipment are in good working order.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and wear appropriate safety gear during work.
  • Learn to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes.

Pay Range: $18- $32 per Hour
