Job summary

Cerrowire, a long‑standing copper wire producer in the United States, seeks dedicated production operators on a 12‑hour shift with a 2‑2‑3 rotating schedule. You’ll run production equipment, perform quality checks, and help maintain a safe, efficient manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and interpret production orders in English.
• Ability to obtain a forklift certification.
• Operators must be able to follow instructions and work well with others.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Employment is contingent upon passing pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Run production equipment to produce high-quality electrical copper wire.
• Learn various production processes such as drawing, bunching, and extrusion.
• Utilize computer controls to operate production equipment.
• Run equipment to meet daily production goals efficiently.
• Perform hourly quality checks to ensure product meets standards.
• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and teammates.
• Keep lines and work areas clean and organized.
• Ask questions to clarify tasks and standards when needed.
• Assist on the production floor as assigned by leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.
