Job summary

Cerro Wire LLC in Utah is seeking a production operator to run and monitor copper wire production lines. You will perform quality checks, operate equipment, and maintain safe, organized work areas on a 12-hour shift on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

Responsibilities include following production orders, learning drawing, bunching and extrusion processes, and collaborating with teammates to meet daily goals. Background checks apply; forklift certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and interpret production orders in English.
• Ability to obtain a forklift certification.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Employment is contingent upon passing pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Run production equipment to produce high-quality electrical copper wire.
• Learn various aspects of production processes (drawing, bunching, extrusion).
• Utilize computer controls to operate production equipment.
• Run equipment to meet daily production goals.
• Perform hourly quality checks to ensure product meets quality standards.
• Maintain a safe work environment and good housekeeping.
• Assist on the production floor as assigned by leadership.
