Boeing in North Charleston, SC is seeking an Electrical Wire Design Engineer (Associate or Experienced) to help define the future 787 customer introduction configurations within the wire design team.

The role emphasizes detailed wire components, interface control documents, and wire type and gauge requirements for specific circuits. It is an onsite position with opportunities to grow under a lead engineer and mentor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
• 2 or more years’ related work experience.
• 2 or more years’ of experience in an engineering role.

Responsabilités

• Experience in Electrical system architecture design, wiring design, harness design is required.
• Generate and maintain wire diagrams for released designs.
• Develop wire design work statements for new design implementation.
• Utilize process documents, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
• Individuals should be able to work under general direction of lead Engineer and an expert mentor to enhance both technical learning and career growth.
