Job summary

The Boeing Company in North Charleston, SC, is seeking an Electrical Wire Design Engineer at Associate or Experienced level to contribute to 787 Commercial wiring configurations. This onsite role requires a Bachelor of Science in engineering and multiple years of related experience.

Responsibilities include electrical system architecture, wiring/harness design, and generating wire diagrams, with collaboration across teams and mentorship from senior engineers.

Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA), 787 Wire Design organization has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Wire Design Engineer (Associate or Experienced) in North Charleston, SC. The positions will help us define the future 787 Commercial customer introduction configurations within the wire design team.

We’re seeking highly motivated candidates with strong knowledge of detailed wire components, interface control documents, and wire type and gauge requirements for specific commodity circuits. Our Teams are currently hiring for a range of experience levels including Associate or Experienced.

Work Authorization Statement:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at our North Charleston, SC location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.

• 2 or more years’ related work experience.

• 2 or more years’ of experience in an engineering role.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5 or more years’ related work experience.

• Experience working with and applying aircraft design requirements.

• Ability to work in a team environment.

• Ability to quickly adapt to program tools and procedures.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills.

Summary Pay Range:

• Associate (Level 2): $91,800 — $124,200

• Experienced (Level 3): $112,200 – $151,800
