Job summary

P1 Construction, LLC seeks an Electrical VDC Projects Intern for summer 2027 in Lenexa, KS. This paid seasonal role reports to our Electrical VDC team and offers exposure to multiple construction disciplines.

As an Intern, you will assist Detailers on active projects, support the Construction Department, and gain hands-on experience in virtual design and construction workflows while meeting safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a college/university bachelor (4-year) degree program related to Virtual Design, Construction, or Engineering.
• Must be at Freshman or higher college level with at least one semester remaining after summer 2027.
• Must be able to pass background and motor vehicle checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Detailers with active projects to gain exposure to construction contracting.
• Support projects with the Construction Department.
• Interns are paid P1 employees.
