Job summary

ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, is seeking a Sustaining Electrical Validation Engineer to contribute to hardware validation of server platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, verify electrical specs, and ensure production readiness, including SW stack and use case testing.

You will assist in debugging, identify root causes, and help resolve issues as they arise with a focus on robust validation processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in electrical/electronic/computer engineering or related field.
• 0-2+ years of experience in system or electrical validation.
• Ability to script for testing and debugging.

• Aid in test specifications, requirements, strategies, and methodologies.

About the Role

In this position, the Sustaining Electrical Validation Engineer will contribute to both the Electrical and Platform level hardware validation of Sanmina-ZT server platforms. The Electrical Validation Engineer will be working with cross functional teams to aid in developing as well as executing test plans which will verify product hardware functionality, adherence to electrical specifications and production requirements including SW stack and use case testing. The Electrical Validation Engineer will aid in debugging, identify root causes and resolve issues as they occur.

What You will Do

• Interface with sustaining, suppliers, architecture, design, platform, firmware, and system engineering
• Aid in test specifications, requirements, strategies, and methodologies
• Efficiently execute test plans to meet customer timeline requirements
• Understand how systems work and be able to identify defects and issues
• Confidently describe test procedures and issues to internal and external stakeholders
• Track and aid in documenting and summarizing test results and collaborating in automation efforts for validation

What You Bring

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, System Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• 0-2+ years of working knowledge in systems in a electrical/system test or validation setting
• Ability to aid in scripting for testing and debugging purposes
• Ability to provide clear report findings
