Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required or equivalent
• 3+ years planning/design experience in electrical utility infrastructure
• P1 experience (Primary utility contact) required
• Travel up to 30% within service territory and varying weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute multiple concurrent projects in a production environment with emphasis on quality, communication and deadlines
• Design and engineer Lighting, UG and OH utility systems per standards and client requirements
• Identify and resolve complex design issues using electrical engineering principles
• Interface with internal teams, external organizations and governmental agencies
• Provide training, mentoring and oversight to junior staff and lead job/site walks and scope reviews
• Serve as team lead on larger projects to drive success within timeframes and budgets
• Develop technical reports, calculations, drawings and sketches
• Navigate manuals, processes and workflows for knowledge and performance improvement
• Participate in field activities including job/site walks and travel up to 30%
