Job summary

Mainspring Energy in Long Island, NY is seeking mechanically inclined individuals for our Field Service team. You will perform planned and reactive service on our generators, helping maintain uptime at customer sites in a defined region.

Training occurs at our Menlo Park, CA headquarters before regional deployment. We offer full benefits, vacation and sick time, 401K, and pre-IPO stock options, with a competitive base hourly rate of $26–$35 onsite.

Qualifications

• 3+ years mechanical assembly/repair experience.
• Experience with precision measuring to .001 inch.
• Valid Driver’s license; Class A CDL preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs; PPE required.

Responsibilities

• Mechanically repair and/or maintain generators per procedures and checklists.
• Collaborate with engineers to fix, repair, and redesign components.
• Conduct mechanical inspections and document condition data for debugging.
• Be available to work on-call shifts to support customers.
